SWISS OSTEOPATHIC CENTRE FOR KIDS (SOCK)
BIOBASICS PROGRAMME 2017
May 5-7, Crans Montana, Switzerland
From a Functional to a Biodynamic Approach
An Introduction to Treating Children Within the Tradition of Osteopathy
Welcome to the first SOCK BioBasic Course in Switzerland - an introduction to the osteopathic treatment of children - emerging from "The Biodynamic Model of Osteopathy in the Cranial Field" pioneered by Dr. James Jealous D.O.
We invite you to join us for a weekend of learning and sharing, of lectures and practicals held in the breathtaking environment of the high plateau of Crans Montana in the Swiss alps.
Do you want to explore the original thoughts of the founder and early explorers of this great work?
Do you wish to improve your practice and deepen your personal journey into the living osteopathic principles?
We will cover some of the basic concepts and help you to create your own experiences that you can take with you into your practice.
This course is intended to be experiential. We will explore how to perceive and to invite a dialogue with the therapeutic forces of the living health.
As Dr. Still said, "The role of the Osteopath is to find Health in the patient, anyone can find disease."
A cheerful group of experienced osteopaths from many countries will take you through the course and guide you as table trainers during your hands-on explorations. They have all completed the 6 year SOCK post-graduate training, and are committed to the treatment of children and their families.
What we hope you will take home from our time together, is essentially how to open up your perception to get to the place in your mind and heart where you can truly meet a child. In this way, the unique therapeutic process of each treatment and the inherent forces of the health can do their work, unhindered by our expectations.
Our visionary program of the Osteopathic Treatment of Children has been assembled with Love
